More on Inner Strength

So to carry this thought 1 step further (see 2 posts below "Inner Strength")

SINCE...there is no other way to develop this inner strength except for the continuous battle of chronic pain and illness,

COULD IT BE....that certain people in this generation have been given these weird new illnesses, (mostly due to environmental toxins, such as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, Multiple Chemical Sensitivity, Lupus, Gulf War Syndrome, and any undiagnosed and/or auto-immune disease that goes through the whole system of the body)
in order to strengthen us for the worst part of the last days??
Another thought is this. The only thing we take with us is what we learn and our relationships. So those of us who have learned this inner strength will be a little bit ahead after the resurrection, and may be called upon to be teachers, guides, missionaries, counselors, leaders to those who did not have the opportunity to learn what we learned through constant pain.
Just my humble opinion.

we'll probably not know why some suffer more than others. i think at the end of the journey, God will embrace those who have put up a good fight on earth without abandoning Him. God bless you, Sheila.

hummm a thought.... I don't feel much strength though... Bless you dear....

After the resurrection, we will all be like angels in our glorifid bodies, worshipping and praising the Lord for His great glory. There is no more need for teachers, leaders, counselors or missionaries for the righteous will live with God and the damned will be in their abode of eternal death. Thanks for the post. God bless you always.

Peace to you my dear friend and Happy Thanksgiving!

Thank you all. Mel, I am convinced that as we study different things, our opinions change about what to believe, and maybe you and I have studied different things to come to such different conclusions, but we have a right to believe differently, because we will keep learning and changing as we study many different things. Even my own beliefs change from time to time...suprisingly, but one belief will never change, that He is there and hears us and loves us.
Blessings,
Sheila
